Filling Facial Wrinkles

Injectable wrinkle fillers can give you a more youthful look for a fraction of what a traditional face lift costs. Most will fill lines and wrinkles in less than 30 minutes and can last from four months to more than a year. Injectable wrinkle fillers, (unlike Botox injection which relaxes the muscle under a wrinkle), fill the line or crease with one of several different substances and can include Hyaluronic Acid fillers, Synthetic fillers, collagen, autologous fillers – which are usually taken from fat within your own body.

Glycolic (Fruit) Acid Peels

This is a substance derived from sugar cane and stimulates new skin growth by sloughing off the surface dead skin resulting in a brighter smooth, natural-looking skin. It can be used to treat acne scarring, skin ageing and sun damage.

Hand Rejuvenation

Through this therapy hands are given an added fullness; age spots are lightened and texture improved leaving the hands looking younger and more beautiful.
TREATMENT: Treatment includes Intense Pulsed Light (IPL), Broadband Light (BBL) and if necessary injectable fillers.

Hair Removal

Laser hair removal is the process of removing unwanted hair by means of exposure to pulses of laser light that destroy the hair follicle. It is a permanent or semi-permanent method of removing unwanted hair. And is widely accepted. The efficacy of laser hair removal is now generally accepted in the dermatology community, [eg. The American Academy of Dermatology - AAD] and laser hair removal is widely practiced in clinics.
TREATMENT: Allure (ADLC) has many laser treatment rooms dedicated to this purpose.

Non-surgical eye-bag removal

This procedure can improve tired eyes, baggy eyes and dark circles under the eyes. The treatment involves injecting a filler into the depression under the eye using a very fine needle to inject the filler just above the bone of the eye socket. It is then molded through careful massage and the results are remarkable.

Smoothing Facial Wrinkles

Similar to the non-surgical eye-bag removal, wrinkles are filled with certain injectables to plump out the wrinkle resulting in a fuller rejuvenated face. These could be any of the following: Botox, Juvederm, or Restylane.

Scar Revision

Scars caused by injury, burns, or accidents can be removed or revised through a number of different processes. Keloids are scars that are thicker and of a different texture than the rest of the skin.
TREATMENT: Various treatments can be used to minimize the way a scar looks that is why we call it scar revision. These include dermabrasion, laser treatments, chemical peels or steroid injections. Your doctor will advise you as to which will work best for you.

Skin toning & Tightening

Laser therapy using Pulsed Dye lasers, Intense Pulsed Light and Radio Frequency equipment are all used to tighten and tone skin around the face, neck, arms, and abdomen

Sun Damage

This is caused by years of exposure to ultraviolet (UV) light from the sun resulting in premature skin ageing, a tendency to easy bruising, thick skin, coarse wrinkles, especially on the back of the neck, forearms and back of the hands.
TREATMENT: Certain procedures can remove or reduce the effects of sun damage these include but aren't limited to dermabrasion, laser treatment, certain chemical peels, etc

Thread Veins

Thread or spider veins are small dilated blood vessels that appear near the surface of the skin, are often red or blue and can be embarrassing as they often look like bruises. Thread vein removal treatment can be used to remove thread veins on the face, body and legs. Laser treatments will remove fine and large thread veins quickly and effectively and all that is needed to leave your skin feeling smooth and blemish-free. This is a non-invasive treatment for veins 1-3 mm in size. We generally recommend on average 5 treatments.
